What to expect

The official name of the old Royal Naval Academy is "The Royal Naval Academy". In 1869, the Royal Naval Academy moved to Greenwich. It was originally a naval hospital where British naval soldiers injured in the Napoleonic Wars were treated here. . Please present your e-voucher at the Visitor Centre or The Painted Hall. Guide will depart from the Visitor Centre desk from 11am to 3pm daily. Visitors are advised to arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to their chosen Timeslot. Lectures will be held every 30 minutes in The Painted Hall from 11am to 4pm.
