What to expect

Hong Kong Tramways, affectionately known as the “Ding Ding,” is one of the most iconic and historic modes of transportation in Hong Kong. Operating exclusively on Hong Kong Island, the tram offers a charming and nostalgic way to travel through the city’s busiest districts.

With its classic double-decker design, the tram allows passengers to enjoy elevated views of bustling streets, traditional shops, and modern skyscrapers. It is not only a practical means of transport but also a cultural experience that reflects the city’s heritage and daily rhythm.

The tram runs between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, with a branch to Happy Valley, making it a convenient option for sightseeing or short-distance travel.

Meeting time: (Please arrive at the station 10 minutes before your reserved time slot)
1) Sheung Wan (Western Market) Terminal Departure Time: 10:00 / 13:45 / 16:15
2) Departure time from Causeway Bay Terminal: 11:15 / 15:00 / 17:30
Meeting point: Proceed on your own to either the Sheung Wan Western Market Terminus or Causeway Bay Terminus, depending on the pick-up point you selected when placing your order!
transport guide:
1) Sheung Wan (Western Market) Terminus Address: Exit B of Sheung Wan MTR Station, walk westwards to the area between Des Voeux Road Central, Cleverly Street, and Morrison Street in Sheung Wan, near the Western Market (formerly Sheung Wan Market)
2) Causeway Bay Terminal Address: Exit E of Causeway Bay MTR Station, walk eastward, near Regal Hongkong Hotel in Wan Chai District
Important Notes:
1. You must participate in the tram panoramic tour and obtain the Gold Combo Ticket before using the regular tram service.
2. When using regular tram services, you must present your Golden Panoramic Tram Tour Combo Ticket to the driver upon disembarking.
3. Please join the tram panoramic tour at the booked time and use the regular tram service on the booking day and the following day.
4. Please arrive at the departure station 10 minutes before departure, with the latest boarding time being 5 minutes before departure.
5. Please board the tram from the rear door and exit from the front door.
6. Your booking will be confirmed within 1 working day after successful reservation, and the confirmation voucher will be sent to your email.
7. If you haven't received the email within the specified time, please check your spam folder.
8. Golden Panoramic Tour Combo Ticket, including 1-hour unique nostalgic tram ride + unlimited rides on regular passenger trams within 2 days.
9. On the day of use, each person is limited to one one-hour nostalgic tram ride experience and cannot ride repeatedly. Thank you for your understanding!
10. In case the tour cannot proceed due to weather or other reasons, notification will be sent 72-48 hrs prior to departure.
11. Drop-off Location: The above 2 stops operate on a one-way system where boarding at one stop means alighting at the other. Please take note!
